Since installing Pagemaker 7.0 on an XP machine, I can make a PDF OK (Pagemaker to Distiller) but the fonts don’t come out right (see screen capture – website address below).
To get the PDF to come out with the correct fonts (all Arial, by the way), I have to transfer the Pagemaker file and linked files to my trusty old Win98SE computer, which then makes a perfectly good PDF file with no special configuring.
After I got this output, I copied all the fonts from old computer to this folder:
c:\program files\adobe\pagemaker 7.0\extra\fonts
I still get the same result. (You can see that the space character is showing up as "#".)
