I am unable to find the Drawing Lines tool?
What did I do wrong to loose this feature?

Look at your "custom shapes tool" (4th down on left in the tools).
There is a "corner arrow" that will reveal more selections including the line tool.....It is hiding there.

You did nothing wrong. Some of the tool icons can be altered. These are marked with a filled-in triangle in the lower right corner.
If you right-click and hold the mouse button down, you'll see a flyout menu. Then you can select an optional tool from the menu.
This happens to everyone.
A left-click also works.

Really meant that.
When I use software on a daily basis, I recover from my blunders quickly.
