Might be a silly question – but I’ve searched in vain for a way to re-size the window and have it STAY THERE!

As a very recent convert to Mac from PC, I’m finding it frustrating (to say the least) to have to drag the window by its bottom right corner every time I want to enlarge it.

Is there a way of getting the window to stay maximised – even after zooming in and out of the image I’m working on?

Please don’t tell me to click the little green button with the plus on it – it seems to have a mind of its own!

Lastly, I know you guys are sticklers for forum discipline – so if I’ve done something wrong, please explain what it is and why its wrong. (I seem to get shouted at every time I use this forum)!
