I need to remove some devices listed in the file>import menu. They are legacy scanner software items. I have uninstalled the original scanner software but it has left the devices/software still listed in photoshop. How can i remove these items?

Does it require a bit of windows reg tinkering?

As far as I know, that menu is representing Twain items. So while you may have removed the specific software for the legacy devices, you probably still have their twain components on your system. Where they would be is anyone’s guess, usually Windows or Windows\System. You’d have to track them down and zap ’em.
