save for web error

This question has already been answered in the FAQ's but I dont want to delete it just fix it! Anyways when I save for web I get:
"Could not complete this operation because an assertion has failed." The FAQ tells me how to remove it but how do I fix it because I still want to use this option?!

That does fix it. When you delete a preference file it is recreated clean. In other words your file is damaged and needs to be regenerated.
