PhotoShop 5.5
Windows XP
Greetings,
When downloading a photo from the web, sometimes the extension given with it is a .jpeg. Then, with PhotoShop open, attempting to open that image, the selection window of PhotoShop won’t show photos which have the full .jpeg extension. When saving a PhotoShop graphic as a JPEG, it shows JPEG as the ‘name’ of the format, but only .jpg and .jpe as possible extensions. [ie: JPEG(*.jpg, *.jpe) ] I have to go through all the .jpeg’s and delete the ‘e’ in the extension to get PhotoShop to show it in the selection window.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks, -rg-
