I am making a statement, had there been a question mark at the end of the sentence, it would have been a question.

The lack of a question mark doesn't mean much when people use IM texting conventions for almost anything. People have gotten sloppy when it comes to English and grammar.
As a statement goes I don't see a purpose for it. It is a rather stupid statement. Adobe has made clear that ACR 4 can handle JPG images your vague statement just didn't make sense since you didn't bother to put in to context. So that is why I asked if it was a statement or question.

Could you give a reference to where Adobe makes that statement?
