I have used Photoshop for a while now, but never bothered with Actions. I downloaded an interesting action that I'd like to try, but I don't know how to use Actions. I saw a tutorial on the web on how to use them, and I tried it, but nothing happens to the picture. When you have the picture loaded into CS2, you open the Actions palette, click on the rollout window, and select the action that I downloaded.....okay, I did that, now what? Nothing happens when the action is loaded into the Actions palette, so is there something else I need to do to get it to work?
The image is a jpg, if that matters, and other than that, I don't see what I'm missing. Any ideas? I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks.

it has the same symbols as a tape player
stop (square)record (circle)play (triangle)

Got it, thanks KW! I see I had to highlight the first action below the name of the action in order to get the "play" button to become active.
