Draw many lines on the same layer?.....................How??

I used to be able to do this in an older version. I can't seem to figure out how to turn off the new layer creationg in v7. Please help me! TIA.

Can you tell with which tool you use to draw lines....
or maybe post an image on a site and give us the link...

My guess would be that you are making Shape Layers. There are three modes for the Line tool (icons on in the left side of Options Bar. Choose a different one. You probably want the one furthest right.

Ok, here is a screen cap of what is happening:

Everytime I draw a new line it automatically creates a new layer. When i right click on the tool pallette to select other line tools, it presents me with no other. TIA.

Figured it out:

Use the "Fill Pixels" option. When you pick the Line tool, click on the "Fill Pixels" icon right under the Image and Layer pull downs.
