Scanner Twain Error

I have recently changed over to Photoshop CS. Now when I go to scan an image and selcet import / Epson Twain, I get this error messgae.

"Could not open Twain source. Make sure there is a valid source for your scanner in the twain directory found in the windows directory"

What do I have to do to be able to scan. ?

Try re-installing your scanner software

In device manager click refresh when scanner is turned off or comes online. I found this has helped rather than rebooting sometimes.
