Hard drivers are dirt cheap. You wouldn’t like the performance of the scratch disk, anyway.
Drop the network idea and buy a drive.

Hello All,
I’m running Win98, PS 7.0, and none of the local hard drives have enough free space left for adequate scratch disk usage. I browsed through the help and it said that network drives should not be used, but it didn’t say it "could not" be used. So i mapped a network drive to letter I with read/write permissions, but PS 7.0 won’t recognize its existence. The networed drive is also a Samba share but I know it already works since i’ve copied data back & forth from it. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Zenko
