I have updated my photoshop to the latest drivers. However after sometime I’ve been getting a problem with all my files. When trying to move a layer it will either switch to some random layer or always switch to the background Layer. In other words it won’t let me move any other layer then the background. If I select say Layer 1 and try to move it, it will automatically switch to Background and try to move it. Of course the background layer is locked.

Has anyone had this problem before? Please let me know as soon as possible! Or please email me

Sincerely,
Michael Narciso

What exactly is "Auto Select Layer"? I can’t find anything in the documentation about it. I seem to be having the same problem you’re having.

Oh– I found it now with more digging– it’s on the Options bar.
