photoshop 6.0 and 6.0.1 help-problem

hi,
in our company we are running windows xp sp1 and are using photoshop 6.0. the problem we encounter is, that a "standard user" can not open the online help (F1-key). only when we grant all users write access to the
HKLM\Software registry-key the help-function works (although no keys are added to the registry). obviously this is a bug - but the question is: does anyone know a fix or workaround???

Open the help in your web browser and save it as a favorite, bookmark, etc. Create a shortcut in your quicklaunch toolbar.

yeah, ok, but how do i explain 30000 users, that the f1-key and help-menu isn't working ??? of course i know how to view the help, but as i described above, this is a company-licence!!!

30,000 users? That's quite the installed base. Maybe someone else will have a reg hack for you, but that's the best I can come up with.
