Looking for how to create 3D book cover

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for any solution, working on mac os X, which could create a 3D book cover. I would especially like to create such an effect : http://www.taschen.com/media/images/original/va_bill_ward.jp g

Bit OT – but, I’ve always considered Gil Elvgren to be "the king of the glamour girls" – more so than Bill Ward.

What exactly are you wanting to do? Make a mockup of a book? You can easily do this in PS, the way I would do this is – create the front cover on a separate layer – apply a layer style bevel – merge that layer down onto a empty layer then apply a drop shadow. The spline – just create it like you want it on a sperate layer, then edit > transform > perspective and adjust the grips on the left side to make it look like should. Align the spline with the front cover and merge the spline layer onto the book cover layer – then flatten the whole thing and crop as needed. You’re done.
