Pagemaker to Tif

Does anyone know a way to convert Pagemaker files to tif (or any photoshop file). I could export to pdf, then open in CS, but I'd like to find a quicker way. There will be a lot of these over a long period of time.

Thanks in advance

I am relatively new to Photoshop elements. I applied the craquelure filter to one picture and didn't even save it. Now whenever I turn the Filter menu on the craquelure effect is immediately applied to any picture. did I somehow set it as a default? Would reloading the program help?

Why not just save it as a TIFF file? That feature has been in Photoshop for eons.

?? Clyde, the files are in Pagemaker, not Photoshop. He wants a way to save/convert them from Pagemaker's format to one that can be brought into Photoshop.

Hmm, did you mean to say, "... been in PageMaker... ?" That makes your statement make more sense. I'm not sure, but I believe TIFF has been supported since at least PM 6.0, perhaps longer, so that's definitely an option.

You can't export a PageMaker Document as a graphic (tif). PageMaker will only allow you to export as a graphic if you select an existing graphic you previously "placed" into a PM Doc...

PDF is your only viable option.

Thanks for the replys...bummer...I need to do some studying about PDFs. I was hoping Adobe would have some other program, like indesign or illustrator that would open A pagemaker file and export or save or print a file that would allow me to make a tiff......alas
