I have Photoshop 5.5 and I am annotating many
photographs. Since these have the "creation date" in the file Properties, is there any way to dump
this date on to the Photoshop image and then save
this result?

Please help.

Not in 5.5 I don’t think. Later version have scripting support that might be able to do it.

Thanks; I was given a free download called
"Exifer" which has an easy way to put watermarks on the Jpegs just after they are downloaded from
the camera.
I have chosen: "Date", "Time", "F-stop", "StutterSpeed" and "ISO".

Therefore all future photos will have this basic
information, and other description can be done
later.
