Does the IBM version of Photoshop 7.0 allow .psd files to be converted to MAC .psd files?
I have built a file on my IBM PC and need it screen printed by my screenprinter who has a MAC.

The file format is cross-platform, there is no need for any conversion

Rene, thanks for the reply. However, the screen printer says he is unable to open the file.
Any suggestions?

Did the screen printer request a PSD? Just curious because most I've used don't even have Photoshop. If so, are they using an older version?
How did you get the file to them (CD, Email)? Could it be corrupt?

What does unable to open the file mean? Error message? Corrupt file? What version of Photoshop are you using? What version is he using? How did you send him the file?

The message says: Unable to parse.

What about the rest of the questions we asked you?

Kathy - either the file has been corrupted when you transferred it, or you have the wrong extension on the file.
#8
make sure your filename ends with .psd
