Speaking of Bridge --- any Raw thumbnail viewers for Win2K like Win XP has?

I've decided that whenever the image quality really matters, I'm going to shoot my D70 (and the 5400) recording RAW format. But ... When we're out traveling, my wife's laptop -- which is used as our photo safe -- has Windows XP and Microsoft's new RAW thumbnail viewer really works well so I can use just Windows Explorer to look at the whole set of pictures I've recorded.

BUT ... My own image processing computer at home is a Windows 2000 computer and I'd love to have the same kind of RAW thumbnail viewing on it that we have on WinXP. Yes, I could use Bridge, but it's often much like swatting a fly with a tactical nuclear device. Does anyone know of any Explorer upgrades for Win2K that allow RAW thumbnail viewing?

Why not upgrade your windows version to XP on the other comp too. I don't think 2000 had a picture upload wizard, but if it does I would try it and if it doesn't work uninstall it?
I didn't know that XP could see RAW format in it's upload software. Going to try it now.

Unfortunately, mostly because I have to support several "clients" in the programming work that I do, I have to maintain computers with several different OS including MS-DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and at least two versions of Linux! Some of this is done on industrial computers with removable HDs which allow me to switch OS easily, but the real workhorse computer, the dual XEON, is (currently) the only Windows 2000 computer I have. SO ... I can't upgrade that computer. And, alas, my Windows XP is a lightweight machine that's used for "Office" stuff like e-mail and some document editing. So I have no choice about that.
