Click-select a layer...?

Hi,
I used to do Control>click to select a layer (I'm using CS1), but now - out of the blue - all I have to do is click on a layer without hitting control to select it.

I'm not sure how/why that changed. How do I change it back...?

Uncheck "Auto Select Layer" in the options bar for the Move tool. ------------------
