CS multiprocessor support update for hyperthreading technology?

I am wondering if the multiprocessor support update for CS will do anything for a single processor with hypertheading technology?

I noticed that I have experienced issues with the magic wand tool but not sure if that was due lack of RAM or something else.

The update is needed for hyperthreaded processors.

not only is it tasty, it's nutritious too!
