Friends - This has happened in the past a coule times, and I have had to reinstall to remedy the problem. Is there a better solution for this issue? It seems that it may happen on the next bootup after I edited an 'action'in a previous session, but maybe not? - Thanks for your help, Bob

Oh great! I'm hard up against a deadline and my machine is doing the same - yesterday I used some actions that I downloaded from Adobe Studio... and a couple of them acted rather strangely. I shan't be doing that again in a hurry!

You need to delete this file: New Doc Sizes.psp which will be here: C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\8.0\Adobe Photoshop CS Settings
That should get things working again :)

Bob,
This has happened in the past a couple of times<<
Have you been editing the New Doc Sizes.psp in a text editor? If so don't do that - new doc sizes can be created and saved from the File>New d/box...

Len - Thanks for your help. I have never touched the file. I meant that it has happened a couple times after editing or creating an action - Bob
