Hi. I've got a psd file that will load in photoshop 5.5, but not CS. Is there anyway to convert this to the CS file format?

Cheers,
Dan.

Strange. I would understand if it was the other way. What happens exactly if you try to open it in Photoshop CS?

No conversion should be necessary. I open Photoshop 5 files in CS all the time.

Why won't it load? What happens when you try?

It says "Could not complete your request because the layer is not a valid text layer.".

Sounds like something is corrupt. If you can open it in PS 5.5, you should be able to remove that text layer or flatten it. Then it should open in CS.
