source for plug-ins needed

I'm trying to trace down a compatible plug-in for photoshop cs. The original application was named: "Kai's Power Tools v3.0". This product had a specific feature in it which I'm looking for called "Planar Tiling". This feature was used in a book entitled, "Fantasy Nudes" by photographer Jim Zuckerman (page 60)and was published in 1998.

Since the book was published the original manufacturer of the plug-in has sold out to some other name company (may have been associated with Corel or Meta Creations).

Adobe is pretty darn vague about listing which plug-ins are compatible with photoshop cs, and what features come inside any given plug-in. Is there somewhere that a guy can find a list of plug-ins and a list of their features agreeable with Adobe, without trying to determine how many companies in this ol' world offer plug-ins for Adobe in the first place?

Any usable leads would be greatly appreciated.

KPT3 has Planar Tiling and it runs fine on CS. 19 filters including the notorious Page Curl :-). I don't know if they are still on the market...maybe Ebay.
