Creating a set of actions to combine two images while Automating.

I have two images, i need to be able to drag one image on to the other. same photo same spot on every picture.i want to be able do several batches of photos this way. i tried creating a set of actions to accomplish this,but to no avail. is there a way to accomplish this. please help!

instead of dragging, use cut (crtl-x) or copy (crtl-c) and paste (crtl-v) (note something must be selected for cut or copy to work. if you want the whole image, use crtl-a for select all before cut or copy). then you can switch to the move tool and use the alignment options in the options bar.

this will work even if i use it as an action to continue on to several other photos?

it should, assuming you want to move the image to a location supported by the move tool... (edge, middle, top, bottom, etc)

You said you wanted to do this on "several batches" of images. If that's the case, you'll want to take advantage of Photoshop's Batch Processing facility. That, in conjunction with the action, will enable you to process images "a folder at a tiime" automatically (hands off).

If you're not familiar with Batch Processing, wave the white flag and someone will get you going on that, too.
