Can PhotoShop 8.0 (CS) be used in Windows ME?

Is there ANY way of using PhotoShop 8.0 with the operating system Windows ME? I just got PhotoShop, the first one I could get (The last one, 8.0) and it looks like can't work on Windows ME, only 2000 with Service Pack 3 and XP.
In the stores I know there's only PhotoShop 8.0 so I was wondering if there's any way of making PhotoShop 8.0 work on Windows ME.

nope. you need to upgrade your os. it won't even install on 9x/me or NT.

And for goodness sake, don't do an upgrade installation of XP.

he means don't upgrade OVER me. format and install fresh. same goes for 2k if you decide to use that.
