printing more than one image

I have a notion that there's a simple answer to this. How do I print more than one image on an A4 sheet? I have never figured it out.

Open a "new" document A4 size at the same dpi as the photos that you want to print..

Open each photo.

Drag and drop your photos one at a time onto the A4 with the "move tool" (double arrows). Each will become a new layer. Position each of them the way that you want them on the A4.

Print the A4. You could flatten the A4 (remove the layers to reduce the file size) and save it if you wanted or just trash it when finished.

Actually there is a really easy way to do this.
Move the images you want to a directory all their own.

Then open Photoshop and set printer page size.
Then goto Automate on the file menu.
Pick Contact Sheet II.
You can choose a layout, how may pictures per sheet, etc. Photoshop will do all the rest of the work. You can choose to have the file name printed or not.

If there are more pictures than spcae PS will create as many pages as required.

Good Luck

Automate>picture package>edit selections for your size of paper

OR

use the windows printing wizard, choose paper size in printer properties. Go to the folder of pictures, select the ones you want, on left choose print my pictures (if the folder is not a picture style use the folder options to change it)

or manually as described in a previous post by making anew document and dragging in the images.

if you have WIN XP it is on the left of every picture folder choose >Print Picture and it will come up
If you can't see it you may have to go to the top of the window and choose TOOLS>FOLDER OPTIONS>make sure SHOW COMMON TASKS IN FOLDER is checked.

Or just view the pics in Win Explorer, select the ones you want, right click and hit Print and it kicks into the wizard
