Help!

I’m just back from holiday having snapped > 800 digital photos. I got them all onto my hard drive and then did a batch rename on them by opening Photoshop 7, opening the file browser, selecting all the photos, right clicking and doing batch rename. A couple of days later, I went to look at the photos and half of them (from 0 to 320) have been erased! I’ve tried everything, such as R-UNDELETE but it just can’t see them.

Any ideas? Is this a common problem? Can I get them back?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Brendan

Are you sure you added an extension to the name? I have done this and, of course, the images aren’t viewable.

The best thing would be if they are still on your Flashcard (or whatever your memory card camera uses)

are you sure they’re gone? how did you search for them? did you use windows explorer? are they maybe just missing the extention somewhere on your disk? did you try the windows search function in advanced mode searching by date? that’s where i’d start.
