Can anyone, please help me out as to what steps I need to take to convert an image into one pantone colour ? Adobe’s web site is currently so slow as to be unusable.

Thanks in advance ?

Ivan

That depends. Do you want the image to LOOK LIKE that Pantone color, or do you want the image to PRINT ON A PRINTING PRESS in that Pantone color?

If it’s the former, then just go to the Color Picker, hit Custom, choose the Pantone color as your foreground, then Edit->Fill with Foreground Color in Color mode.

If it’s the latter, then choose Image->Mode->Grayscale (if it is not grayscale already), then Image->Mode->Duotone, and in the Duotone dialog box choose Monotone and enter the information for your desired Pantone color.
