Our facility makes use of roaming profiles, with a 30meg proflie limit.
Photoshop CS FileBrowser appears to have no options for setting thumbnail cache directory locations, and forces a thumnail libiary into the users profile. Because we work with a 30meg profile limit and 1000’s of large files profile and disk space is quickly used up.
This results in a message appearing warning the user they have exceeded their profile space, and reported slow downs in performance due to lack of disk space.
Does anybody know of any way to modify (or disable) FileBrowser cache settings?
ACDsee viewer has a similar issue when default settings are used, but it is corrected by either disabling thumbnail caching or moving it to an ‘off proflie’ directory.
