That was quite a funny comment Phosphor :)

I'm not saying that they do it to mess with our heads. I just wish they would see that there is some value in keeping things the same, such as the default settings, keyboard shortcuts, and core functionality. When these things change I get so frustrated!

But if your frustration lasts more than 24 hours, I might be inclined to believe that accepting change is difficult for you, no?

Seriously...Many of us have been through lots of changes in applications for years, and if you use the application every day, the change shouldn't be so difficult to adapt to and make second-nature. I know that, for me, when I upfrade, I tend to get hazy about the way things worked in a previous version within a week. After a month, if somebody asks a question about an earlier version I have to launch the earlier version to remind myself how thhe things that have been changed used to be done.

I guess I'm either a fast learner or quickly adaptable.

As to why companies change things that could be left as they were in a previous version, I have no clue.
