Hello. I just installed a new computer and tried to install PS CS on it, but it told me it would need to search my computer for my old copy. However, my old copy is on my old computer that I just replaced with my new computer! I still have the old computer, and was wondering what I should do?

If I hook up my old computer to the new one with a serial cable and add it to my network, will it be recognized during the new installation on my new computer and then I won’t have any problems? Or does it just search my immediate local hard drives?

I don’t have any earlier Photoshop discs or serial numbers anymore – just my serial number on the cd case for PS CS.

Thanks,

Peter

If you registered your earlier versions then Adobe would have the records and will be able to help you. But why don’t you have the earlier CDs?
