Was working on a map of our community of homes, size: 48" wide, 42" height, 179 megs, grayscale, 8 bit. Choose Type tool, typed house number in "Comic Sans font, rotated number, moved into position on map and hit enter. Then decided to edit number, selected type tool, left mouse clicked over previous placed number (which was rotated about 45 degrees), editing box appeared, with cursor and then Photoshop froze. Had to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to access Windows Task Manager which reported Photoshop was not responding. Rebooted PC
Pentium 4, 2.4 Ghertz processor, 1024 MB Ram, scratch disk on seperate drive sector… never had this happen before.

Use a different font than Comic Sans.

Please. I beg you.

Could be a corrupt font, bad video driver or any number of other things. You really didn’t give us any system details.

BTW, Phos is right. Pick another font.
