I don't know of a plug-in that removes the moire pattern. See the following link for a tutorial, http://www.carlvolk.com/photoshop03.htm "alu" wrote in message

The best way to get rid of moire is to get rid of your Nikon D70 . . .

Someone posted that getting rid of moire was as easy as tossing your D70. Humbug.
Scanning negs and newspaper photos can result in moire. (trick there is to rotate the photo or use
descreening settings when scanning).

I hadn't noticed moire when using my D100. It's easier to prevent than remove moire.

I searched Nikon's D70 knowledgebase and came up with an explanation and a few tips on reducing moire:

Question
In some of my photos I have an odd red/blue stripe or pattern. What is this?

Answer
Sometimes odd stripes or colors will appear in a digital image, either from a high-end digital camera, or from a scanned image. This effect is called moir

Nice link - NOT!

If there IS info on russelbrown.com, could you specify the page - it's a HUGE site and searches reveal nothing.
thanks

Hi alu,
Go to www.russelbrown.com and in the bottom left hand corner click on "Tips and Techniques" and there you will find it. It is for Photoshop cs. Hope that helps.

That is weird, when I click on the link, no such title exists "anywhere" on the page.

Brian.
