Pen Tool

I am starting off with photoshop. Could someone illustrate, how to create a simple "S" shape using the pen tool? Any help would be appreciated.

Select normal Pen Tool. Click a point on the image and drag to the right. 'Handles' will appear stretching out in both directions. Click a point vertically above the first and drag to the right again. The same happens but this time an 'S' curve appears between the two points. Hit ESC to finish the job. If you don't like the shape choose the 'Convert Point Tool' and drag the handles to manipulate the curve.

Right click the path in the Paths palette and choose 'Stroke Path...' to color it in.

Thanks R, I did get a S shape, but its not exactly what I want. how do I convert to points?
