Why can’t I drag the screen left with Polygonal Lasso Tool

I like to use the Polygon Laso Tool to crop and I can drag the screen right, up, and down but not left. This makes it extra difficult for me. Is there anyway to fix this problem?

I have PS 7.0

Below is a link to an example of the problem.

the Green arrows indicates where I can drag the screen when what I need to crop is off screen so I can get to that section while the Red arrow indicates where I can not drag the screen to get to a section to be able to crop it.

Julian,

This seems to be an odd difference in operation between some of the selection tools. The solution is to temporarily toggle to the Hand tool by holding down the spacebar so you can pan the image over and bring the unselected region into view. Then release the spacebar and continue with defining your selection.
