problem with selection when zoom

when i use the lasso tool for selection and
i did zoom the image very big,
then when i am in end of the window with the cursor,
the window slides a lot....

If you press the spacebar, you can "push" the canvas to re-center it and then continue making your selection.

Try holding down the space bar on your keyboard when you get near the edge of the window.- this turns the cursor into a Hand tool temporarily and you can slide the window with the Hand tool.
When yiu release your keyboard's spacebar the lasso tool re-appears and you can continue with your selection.

Are you talking about the auto-docking feature? Where if you move a selection or object close the border, it snaps on.

If you are, there is an option in the preferences to turn it off.
