I would like separate an image into 3 equally sized sections ie as a triptych (3 x equally sized vertical panels).

Each section being 1/3 the total width of the original.

Is there a way to do this in PS CS?

1. Divide the width by 3.

2. Go to View>New Guide to place each guide in the exact location defined by step one.
