Is it possible to copy parts of a path to add to the same path? (to make something symmetrical)

Does anyone know how to copy a part of a path, and add it to the same path? Like if you wanted to do something symmetrical?

Nevermind, I figured it out.

You just use the direct path selection tool, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, edit>transform path>flip horizontally.
