I am needing to put a photo into a Christmas Ornament Bulb. This image will be a reflection of the original photo. Any suggestions, please? I appreciate this newsgroup. Dick Ross

i'll give it a shot;

open the image you want to reflect in the bulb, drag a perfect square with the marque tool, hit>image>crop
then go to filter, spherize, set to 100%.
duplicate the layer, drag a perfect circle with the marque tool aroond the blown up picture, copy this layer to your bulb.
Hit ctrl-T to traform it to the dimensions of your bulb, drag the layer on top an try to change the blend mode, maybe overlay or multiply will fit your needs, otherwise change the opacity to 50%, add some white to the reflecting points, i could try this if you'll send me your source image...

I agree with Remco, Filter > spherize is the way to go. Just make sure your circle is centered and selected rather tightly. Remco's suggested method would probably ensure this. I've even done it with text. It sort of gives a "wrap-around effect.

Another idea, if you have the Eye Candy plug-in, is to use the water droplet feature with the number of drops set to one, It gives a descent spherical look with proper reflections.

Coloring the circle with a radial gradient--lighter in the center--might add a bit of depth too.

Here's a grayscale poster I did for a home town Theatre's renovation/restoration fund raiser. It has a Photoshopped Christmas bulb using spherize on both the text and the snowflakes, and a radial gradient on the bulb:
