Trial Version of CS expires early

Anybody know how to recover from this? I downloaded the Trial Version of CS yesterday evening, installed it successfully, started to browse some of my photos, then had to shut down for other reasons. 3 minutes later I tried to used Photoshop CS again and was informed that the Trial Version had expired. I have deleted it, cleaned the registry and even re-installed Windows 2000, but all further attempts to install the Trial version fail during the final phase of installation - when the registry is being updated.

How can I overcome this problem?

The best way I know of getting a fully functional version of PSCS that is not time bombed is to .... buy it

Yeah, but I think the whole idea of the trial is so that people can try it before they buy it.

I would contact Adobe Support, they would have a record of when you D/L'ed it so there shouldn't be an issue.

I tend to agree. I emailed Adobe support as soon as I was satisfied that the problem was reproducible. I'm still waiting for a reply.....

Yes; I'm on SP4 (well, actually I''m not anything now; the Doctor says I'll be OK, just don't install any more software.... The System applet in control panel says Win 2000 is at SP4)

OK, only reason I asked is you need at least SP3 for CS. :)
