Printing in CS3

Hi,
When I print several images from CS3 and select printing modes for my Canon printer (like glossy paper, auto sheet feeder etc.) in CS2 it was saved after I printed the first image, but in CS3 I have to select this every time I click print. I don't exit CS3, this is while it's still opened. How do I fix this?

Sorry to say, you can't. This is a new "feature" built into CS3. Some how this is supposed to be better than the "old" way. As Adobe has told us this is was the way it's been done with Apples so they made the PC version operate the same way. I now use Qimage to print now, not CS3.

You're kidding?! How can this be better?! If people want different settings on different images they will HAVE TO go to settings every time, but if they don't, they will now HAVE TO go anyway?! Where's the logic? I'm not asking you dude, of course, but maybe someone else, lol from Adobe, will read this.

Adobe has been listening. There's been a *lot* of discussion in Adobe's forums. John Nack, Photoshop product manager, writes in his blog that there are some changes underway to come in an update to PS CS3. See <http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2007/10/fixes_for_photo.html>

Hi "Hrvoje". I use CS3 but print with an Epson Stylus Photo 1800 and have the same problem.
The answer I got from Adobe is that "they are aware of the problem and is working on it".
The answer from Epson is to download the latest software from Epson which allegedly works
with Adobe Photoshop. I downloaded it but didn't cure the problem. Epson gave me a work around. You might try Canon and see if they have an update related to Adobe Photoshop.
