Hey All,

This may be a real newbie question but I am at a loss right now.

I just downloaded a few bitmap fonts as TTF’s and installed them into the Windows/Fonts directory but I cannot see them in Photoshop.

Am I missing something simple?

Thanks!

James

Have you refreshed the fonts? Did you close Photoshop down first?

I re-started Photoshop after extracting the fonts to the C:\Windows\Fonts Directory.

I then re-started the machine to no avail.
Is extracting them enough? From WinZip?

Thanks!

Can you see them in windows/fonts? Can you see them in any other program? The method you used is the same as I do it. You can also go through Control Panel and install that way or even double click the font so that the viewer comes up, minimise the viewer and use the font (as long as the viewer is still running)

Thanks for your patience.

I went to Control Panel and "installed" the fonts and it worked fine. Weird.
I thought just extracting them would work too but in this case it didn’t seem to.

Thanks again.
