importing/exporting recorded actions

I switched from Photoshop 6.0 to 7.0 (Windows) and was wondering how I can move my many actions that I have recorded in 6.0 over to 7.0? Do I have to re-record all of them from the beginning? I've tried to "load actions" in 7.0 but can not find any .atn files in my 6.0 folder.

move them to action set(s) (in 6) and save them out using the flyout menu on the action palette (save actions). Then load them the same way in 7.
