I am working on a graphic with Photoshop and Windows XP Home.

I would like to add a few triangles, and fill them in. Please tell me step by step
how to do this.

Thanks

Use the Polygon Shape tool. Type in "3" for the number of sides. You can fill it with color or texture any number of ways, for example by double-clicking the layer and adding FILL or texture, color, whatever you like.

Actually when J says double click on the layer!
You need to double click on the little coloured square on your layer tab – the appropriate window then opens!!
