HELP - photoshop error message

I'm getting the following error in CS2:

" A required application library failed to load and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application."

I've run a virus chek, spyware, registy fix..came out clean - I am able to open CS2 but I've noticed that using the type tool doesn't work anymore. I've tried re-installing the disk and still get the same thing..

Any help is appreciated.

Hi there,

If you have Spyware Doctor, exit the program and Photoshop will return to normal.

One of the components of Spyware Doctor stops Photoshop seeing most of the keystrokes.
