Hi,

I try to make an icon with a circle but found not so easy. The circle is full of steps 🙁 I found there are some "icons" with perfect smooth circles made by others. For example, the "icon" for Microsoft Outlook (32×32 or 16×16) that with smooth circles. However, I could not get those icons and put them into some icon maker to look their details. Anyway, can you tell me how to make an icon of 32×32 or 16×16, with a smooth circle.
Thank you in advance.

Try drawing the circle on a larger canvas, at a [much] larger size, and then re-sample it (Image > Image Size) to reduce the image size to 32×32 or 16×16 and click Resample to actually throw away pixels – try bicubic smoother for the interpolation technique. You’ll end up with a smaller, anti-aliased circle.
