My daughter has bought a Nikon Coolpix, which came bundled with Photoshop 5 LE. I have been trying to teach her various techniques but am finding it difficult as I have CS – the other reason it’s difficult is that she lives in the UK and I’m in the US.
Is there anywhere that I can find a PS5 LE book so that I can at least see the common areas – I’ve tried all the local Bookshops, but the earliest version I can see is PS7

PS 5 LE is a pretty old application. I doubt you’re going to find much info on it. You’d be far better off simply buying your daughter a copy of Photoshop Elements.

According to posts in the LE Forum, many users of XP or people with fast hardware –can’t use LE.

Adobe still offers "Classroom In a Book" lessons ,as well as, Art files in a free download specifically for LE users. The following was taken from an old post:

Also, the LE User Guide is found in pdf format on your LE disk and explains the dialog boxes etc.
