how can I duplicate this button effect?

How can I duplicate the "concave" effect of the big "4" button... the blue-ish area? I tried playing around with the bezel and lighting filters, even a gradient fill, but I couldn't give it that concave / recessed look.

You can try bevel/emboss. Play with the slider. Try 'down'. It's in there.
