Hi,
I have a annoying problem:
Sometimes I want to type something, but as soon as I select anything over 18 pixels I get the message:
A value between 0.00 pixels and 17.96 pixels is required. Closest value inserted.
If I make a new document, then I can type on 56 if I want to, move it to the previous doc., it will stay on 56 px until I try to edit it, it jumps back to 17.96.
Please, what is causing this?? And how can I avoid it ?
Alexander
From Photoshop Help:
To restore all preferences to their default settings:
Do one of the following:
* Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or
Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop or ImageReady. You will be prompted to delete the current settings. * In Mac OS, open the Preferences folder in the System Folder (Mac OS 9.x) or Library folder (Mac OS X), and drag the Adobe Photoshop
7.0 Settings folder to the Trash.
New Preferences files will be created the next time you start Photoshop or ImageReady.
This usually fixes it when things act strange in Photoshop. Yopur personal settings will have to be reset in Photoshop after doing this. If you want to you can just find the preferences file and remove it to your deksktop or Trash. That way if it doesn't work you can restore the file.
Note: The default location of the Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Prefs file varies by operating system; use your operating system's Find command to locate this file.
Same is true for other versions but you might want to look up Preferences in Help in your version.
