how do I turn it back to rubber stamp tool .Click and hold on the icon in the Toolbox. It will fly out. Same as any tool with a black triangle.

Right clicking the tool (on a PC) will also make the tool options appear in a fly out without the small delay involved in clicking and holding.

I know that others have already answered your OP but, if you are one of those who find it easier/faster to use keystrokes as opposed to mouse-clicks, then keep in mind that just pressing the "S" key invokes the stamp tool (the other tools have similar shortcuts).
Depending on how you've set up your preferences, either a Shift + "S" will cycle you through the Clone and Pattern stamp tools or repeatedly pressing the "S" key will cycle you through the tools (to set the preferences to the second option, select Edit > Preferences > General and uncheck Use Shift Key for Tool Switch).
Try it. You might like doing things this way. It's the same with the other, nested tools.
